Results and Discussion: Concept
Result is the outcome, consequences or conclusion of a problem, probe or experiment organized after a period of time. This conclusion can be one result, multiple results or no result as such. The length of time taken to find a result can vary from less than a second to many years. In this chapter the result of the Research has been elaborated and also discussed later.
The purpose of the discussion/revelation is to interpret and describe the significance of our findings in light of what was already known about the research problem being investigated, and to explain any new understanding or insights about the problem, after we have taken the findings into consideration. Recommendations
Based on the empirical research, following recommendations can be made for this specific area of research:
(i) Land size based planning for business communication can help the growth and success of farm enterprise.
(ii) Rice based farming system, supported by irrigation is offering a unique opportunity for capacity building of the farmers of West Bengal.
(iii) Training, focusing on business communication, handling ICT tools and mobile telephony, can go a long way for making communication behavior more adaptive to present social ecology of agriculture and allied sectors of West Bengal.
(iv) Social capitals like, Schools, Panchayat, Credit organizations, Market linked institutions, are to be integrated for shaping up a new form of Entrepreneurial communication behavior.

Future Scope of the Research
The present study has been conducted by driving the insights deeper into the nature, intensity and character of the problems creating barrier against the Entrepreneurial communication. Entrepreneurial communication nowadays is a need in these days of unemployment and stands to be both the means and method of sustaining life process in terms both assets and capital, it needs more comprehensive study. Attaining Entrepreneurial communication among the upcoming and motivating entrepreneurs, anywhere is an endless process by itself. The present research had been conducted to study the Entrepreneurial communication and the process, factors and impact in Agricultural enterprise and allied sectors of selected block of West Bengal and in the end the comparison is made. The study had been conducted at villages Radhikapur from blocks Kaliyaganj of West Bengal. A pilot study was conducted to understand the area, its people, institution, communication and extension system of these states.
An exhaustive list of respondents was prepared critically with the help of some villagers. From the list, 75 respondents from the village were selected for the study through Systematic Random sampling method. The primary data were collected with the help of structured interview schedule by following the personal interview method. The secondary data were collected from our departmental library, internet, Department of Agriculture, West Bengal, Bidhan Chandra krishi Viswavidyalaya, etc. for establishing the conceptual framework of the study.

From the scorching deserts of North Africa to the lush rainforests of South America, and from the snow-capped Himalayas to the vast Australian outback, ancient cultures developed unique methods to forecast the weather. These traditional knowledge systems, often passed downthrough oral traditions and  storytelling, reflected the specific environmental contexts, mythological beliefs, and spiritual practices of each community. In ancient China, royal astronomers meticulously recorded weather patterns and planetary movements to guide agricultural planning and imperial decisionmakingIn Greece, philosophers like Aristotle and Theophrastus wrote extensively on weather signs and forecasting methods. In Africa, tribal communities observed animal migrations and plant behaviors to anticipate seasonal changes. Imagine the air around us. Even though we can’t see it, air has weight. Atmospheric pressure is essentially the force exerted by the weight of the air molecules above a particular point on the Earth’s surface.
Think of it like this: Imagine you’re at the bottom of a swimming pool. The water above presses you down, and you feel that pressure. Similarly, the atmosphere, a giant ocean of air, has layers of air molecules, and their weight presses down on everything below, including us.
• Atmospheric pressure is defined as the force per unit area exerted by the weight of the air column extending from the surface of the earth ,to the top of the atmosphere above that area
• It can be explain in simple terms like:
• Air has weight: Just like water or a pile of books, the air surrounding the Earth has mass, and thus, weight due to gravity.
• Weight creates pressure: This weight of the air presses down on the surface. The more air there is above a certain point, the greater the pressure.
• Like a stack: Imagine a stack of blankets. The blanket at the bottom has to support the weight of all the blankets above it, so it experiences more pressure. Similarly, the air at lower altitudes has the weight of all the air above pressing down on it.

The process through which heat energy is transferred from a body at higher temperature to a body at lower temperature without any material medium between the two bodies is x called radiation. The outer surface of the the Sun is at higher temperature compared to the surface of the earth. Solar radiation is the electromagnetic energy emitted by the Sun. It is the primary source of energy for the Earth’s climate system, driving atmospheric and oceanic circulation, influencing weather patterns, and sustaining life through photosynthesis.2 This energy travels through space as electromagnetic waves, encompassing a broad spectrum of wavelengths, from high-energy gamma rays and X-rays to ultraviolet, visible, infrared, and radio waves. The portion of this spectrum that reaches the Earth’s surface is crucial for a multitude of processes, making thestudy of solar radiation fundamental to understanding our planet’s environment.  This introduction will lay the groundwork for exploring the characteristics, distribution, and interaction of solar radiation with the Earth’s atmosphere and surface.
5.1. Wave length of Radiation
The wavelength of radiation refers to the distance between two consecutive peaks or troughs of a wave. It’s a measure of the length of one complete cycle of the wave

Atmospheric temperature refers to the measure of the warmth or coldness of the air at different levels within the Earth’s atmosphere. It’s not a uniform value but varies significantly with altitude and location. More detailed descrption of atmospheric temperature is as follows:
• Different Layers, Different Temperatures: The Earth’s atmosphere is divided into several layers (troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere), and each layer has a distinct temperature profile. For example, the troposphere (where we live and where weather occurs) generally gets colder with increasing altitude, while the stratosphere above it gets warmer due to the absorption of ultraviolet radiation by the ozone layer.
• Surface Temperature: When people talk about the “temperature” in daily life, they usually refer to the temperature of the air near the Earth’s surface, which is measured at meteorological stations.
• Global Average: Climatologists also use the concept of a “global temperature,” which is an average of temperature measurements taken at the surface, near-surface, or in the troposphere across the entire planet.

Modifying microclimates in agriculture involves altering the local climate conditions surrounding crops or plants to create a more favorable environment for growth. This can be achieved through various techniques when the crops are subjected to weather related stresses.
14.1. To Mitigate Moisture Stress during Droughts
When the crops are under moisture stress, the principles involved are conservation of soil moisture and reduce the evapotranspiration from crops. The moisture conservation can be achieved by suppressing soil evaporation using mulches (Fig. 14.1). The evapotranspiration can be reduced using antitranspirants. Some antitranspirents close the stomata of the leaves to reduce evapotranspiration. Some anti-transpirants increase the reflectance of radiation from the crops, thereby reducing heat load on crops. When crops are grown under irrigation in isolated patches, micro shelter belts can be provided across the predominant wind direction to reduce the increased evapotranspiration from advection. Advection is phenomena of horizontal transport of heat due to strong hot and dry winds.

Climate normals for crops and livestock refer to the long-term average weather conditions, such as temperature, precipitation, and humidity that are suitable for specific crops and livestock in a particular region. These normals help farmers and agricultural planners understand the typical climate conditions that support optimal growth, productivity, and health of crops and livestock. By knowing the climate normals, farmers can make informed decisions about:
• Crop selection and breeding
• Planting and harvesting schedules
• Livestock management and breeding
• Irrigation and water management

The study of animal nutrition is a complex and important field that requires a detailed understanding of the various nutrients that are essential for the proper functioning of an animal’s body. These nutrients, including proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fats, play a crucial role in metabolism and serve different functions such as providing energy, promoting growth and development, maintaining bodily functions, and supporting immunity. It is imperative to have a thorough knowledge of their quantitative requirements and the sources from which they can be obtained for scientific feeding practices. This knowledge has been gained through extensive research and experience over the years. Therefore, it is crucial for students studying nutrition to understand the methods used to acquire this knowledge and how it continues to evolve through ongoing research. This in-depth understanding will enable them to make informed decisions when it comes to providing optimal nutrition for animals.
Advantages of Scientific Feeding
Scientific feeding offers numerous advantages compared to standard feeding practices.

Challenges of Scientific Feeding
Despite its benefits, scientific feeding also encounters some challenges.
1. It requires skills and knowledge that small farmers may not have or can’t afford.

The history of digestion experiments dates back to the mid-19th century when the first true trials were carried out at the Weende Experiment Station in Germany. In 1858, researchers Henneberg and Stohmann began their experiments and published their findings in 1860, which condemned Thaer’s hay equivalents and gave results of their experiments. These trials coincided with the chemical analysis of feedstuffs at the Weende station. Even before 1860, studies on nutrient losses in feces had been conducted to calculate TDN (total digestible nutrients). Over time, numerous publications have recorded the results of digestion experiments, with Schneider and Flatt (1975) documenting more than 3000 studies. In India, over 430 digestion trials have been conducted with Indian feeds and fodders at various research stations, as published by ICAR. The wealth of information gathered from these experiments has greatly advanced our understanding of digestion processes and has enabled improvements in animal nutrition practices.
Digestibility
Nutrients in feed are not fully utilized by livestock, with a significant portion being excreted in feces due to incomplete digestion in the digestive tract. Digestibility can be defined as the proportion of nutrients that are absorbed by the animal’s body and not excreted. It is essential for the animal’s growth, reproduction, and overall metabolism. Animals fed highly digestible feed show improved growth and reproductive performance, leading to increased market availability.
The formula for calculating digestibility is simply the difference between nutrients in the nutrient consumed and nutrients found in faeces.
